Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using HivePulse (the “App”) operated by HiveBits (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

HivePulse is a beekeeping management application that allows users to track apiaries and hives, log inspections, manage tasks, and use AI-assisted disease detection features. Some features require an account or an active subscription.

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorised access to your account.
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Certain features are available only via a paid subscription. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms. Prices may change with reasonable notice. Refunds are handled according to the relevant store's refund policy.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes third-party rights.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or interact with the App in a way not intended.
• Interfere with or disrupt the security or integrity of the App or our servers.

You retain ownership of the data and content you enter into the App (inspection notes, photos, apiary data, etc.). By uploading content you grant HiveBits a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

All intellectual property rights in the App, including the software, design, and branding, belong to HiveBits or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.

HivePulse includes AI-assisted features such as disease detection from photos. These features are provided as informational aids only and do not constitute veterinary or professional beekeeping advice. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy of AI-generated results. Always consult a qualified professional for health concerns affecting your colonies.

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HiveBits and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the App.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which HiveBits is incorporated, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
